About Us

Holly Parr, MA/CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Hi! My name is Holly Parr, founder of Capacity Speech Therapy, and I am a certified and licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) providing in-home and in-community support for young children and their families. A true Minnesotan all the way, I grew up in Maple Grove, and went on to receive both my Bachelor’s and Master's degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and am licensed by both the Minnesota Department of Health and the Minnesota Department of Education. My over 13 years of professional experience spans the whole lifespan, from 1 month to 102 years old.
Capacity Speech Therapy was established so that I could provide creative, flexible, and meaningful support to families in my community. My coaching style focuses on building caregivers' CAPACITY to strengthen their children's communication skills and support the social-emotional needs of families along the way.

Outside of being a speech-language pathologist, you can find me shuttling the kids around to sports and play dates, going for walks and runs, spending time at our cabin, playing volleyball, and enjoying many other outdoor activities with family and friends.

Being a parent has influenced the way in which I want to provide services in the area of communication and caregiver coaching. Capacity Speech Therapy was developed with busy schedules in mind, ensuring flexibility and prioritizing your family's needs.

I look forward to meeting you soon!
